With Victoria Crowder Payne beginning 27 February 2010. All levels of proficiency, £40.00

Are you ever conflicted between traditional motifs and modern techniques?  6 Stitched She’s addresses that very paradox. In the tradition of the Victorian silhouette, we will begin with the female profile, but then we’ll work a modern mixed media twist! Each session will focus on specific techniques that will prompt experimenting with paints and ink, exploring paper, text, and fabric as design elements, and using metallics and wire work, all in service to showing off your stitch!

A Stitcher’s Garden Book: a mixed media embroidered journal with Victoria Crowder Payne, beginning 20 February 2010. All levels of proficiency, £40.00

Do you dream of Secret Gardens… or long for a gate to something special? Beginning with Garden Themes & a blank sketchbook, we’ll create a treasure full of original mixed media embroidered pages.  Working in 2-week increments, we’ll explore plenty of prompts including painting, stamps & stencils, and collage alongside dimensional stitching and embellishment… makes a great gift, AND introduces a lifetime of skills!

A step-by-step guide to using sketchbooks to develop your work with artist Katy Bromberg, beginning 27th February 2010.

This course is for anyone who has a pile of empty sketchbooks waiting to be filled. If you’ve always wanted to work in a sketchbook but aren’t sure where to start, this is the place for you! £40.00
